Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What’s your return policy?

As our products are perishable, all food sales are final.

Willy Pete’s will be happy to replace any item(s) in the unlikely event that they might be damaged or spoiled during transit. To make sure that you are satisfied with the product you receive, please inspect the contents as soon as your order arrives.

Willy Pete’s is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned or being undeliverable as a result of incorrect address information you supply to us, or for inability of a recipient to receive the package on the day you specify that it should be delivered.

Refunds for damaged goods can only be credited to the originating credit card.

Shipping Policy

Willy Pete’s Chocolate is delighted to deliver the chocolate you love! Unfortunately, we only deliver to the USA as of now, but we are working hard to spread the love of chocolate beyond these borders. We take care in making sure your chocolate is properly packaged and in excellent condition before handing it off to the delivery company. Once the package leaves our hands to the delivery company, Willy Pete’s Chocolate is no longer responsible for the package.

Do you ship oversees and to P.O. boxes?

Not at this time.

Do you have customer service?

Of course! We are available via direct email, or you can fill out a form on our Contact Page. Our goal is to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase and experience with Willy Pete’s.

What is a Scoville Rating?

The Scoville scale is a measurement of the pungency (spicy heat) of chili peppers. All our chocolates include a Scoville Rating. We use a variety home grown and dehydrated peppers in most of our chocolates. We have labels that indicate how hot the rating is.

Can you send an allergen list?

We have found that allergen lists quickly become outdated as our product lines change over time. Rather than have you make purchase decisions based on outdated information, we encourage you to check the ingredient label on the package. This label provides accurate, current information about all the ingredients in the package.

How should I store my chocolate?

Solid chocolate products will maintain their quality if well wrapped and stored in a cool, dry place (55-60°F). While refrigerated chocolate is certainly safe to use, we don’t recommend it. Chocolate kept in the refrigerator may “sweat” when brought to room temperature.

Cocoa is considered a non-perishable item which should maintain quality if stored at room temperature in a tightly sealed container
